Printmaking is the process of making artworks by printing, normally on paper. Printmaking normally covers only the process of creating prints that have an element of originality, rather than just being a photographic reproduction of a painting.

Often part of limited editions by famous artists they provide a more affordable way of hanging a classic or popular artists work on your wall.  Pictured in our header image is Banksy, (b.1975), Bomb Middle England, silkscreen printed in colours, 2003, numbered 337/500, published by Pictures On Walls, London, on wove paper, with full margins, sheet 35 x 98.5 cm, black frame.  This print realised £3,200 plus buyers premium in our May 2018 Fine Art Sale.
