    A 19th century porcelain enamel pictorial brooch, the reverse inscribed Palazzo Pitti, a Victorian silver gilt dove forget me not brooch, a tortoiseshell and pique dome brooch, and a Victorian pair of rose diamond set ear studs.
    The Palazzo Pitti in Florence was bought by the Medici family in 1549 and became the chief residence of the ruling families of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. The palace and its contents were donated to the Italian people by King Victor Emmanuel III in 1919 and is now a museum.
