April Antique & Fine Art Auction Results
Dee Atkinson and Harrisons Antique and Fine Art auction on the 26th April 2013 got off to a quiet start on the two viewing days prior but livened up well at the sale with a good attendance throughout the day and considerable interest on the internet. The sale commenced with over seventy lots of silver which performed well despite an 18% drop in the bullion price just before the auction. Top price was for a 1930’s four piece tea service at £670, closely followed by a pair of Victorian fruit comports at £620 with two mid-20th Century salvers realising £480 and £400 and an Edwardian carriage clock £300.
